The President also extended his greetings to Hindus across Indonesia in commemorating Dharma Santi and apologized for not being able to attend the 2026 National Dharma Santi Celebration and the peak celebration of Nyepi Day, Saka Year 1948, in person.
He stated that Indonesia is a great nation built on harmony within diversity—a nation that upholds tolerance and respects differences while remaining united.
Prabowo also reminded the public that Indonesia’s strength lies in cooperation, mutual support, and compassion among its people.
“I believe that Indonesian Hindus have been and will continue to be an important part of maintaining social harmony, national unity, and helping build a just and prosperous Indonesia that stands firmly on its own feet. For Hindus, let us continue to uphold and strengthen the principle of Tri Hita Karana,” he said.
Through the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, the President stressed the importance of maintaining harmonious relationships between people, nature, and God.
“Let us preserve togetherness, strengthen national unity, and work side by side to build a fair and prosperous Indonesia,” President Prabowo concluded.
Dharma Santi itself is the peak celebration observed by Hindus after the Nyepi Day of Silence.
